FOCUS promotes charter schools, and their web site provides a good deal of information about charter schools in DC.
Parents United for the DC Public Schools
The advocacy group for parents of students in DC’s public school system.

This is the web site of one of the two bodies that charter schools in DC (the other is the Board of Education)
Public Charter Schools Center for Student Support Services
This nonprofit “assists District of Columbia public charter schools with a range of services to meet the needs of low-income urban children and youth. The Center facilitates collaboration between public charter schools, city government agencies, and local area social service providers to ensure more effective and integrated services to schools and communities.”
